The challenge was to create a dynamic, multi-functional and user-centric interior design for staff, clients and visitors for the Avante Headquarters, Sydney. Economy of space and noise cancelling solutions for multiple teams was also a high design priority.

Our response was to design an interior space plan to optimise the existing floor orientation to maximise the natural light for 90 staff. The open plan office accommodated long double-sided workstations to suit individual team requirements. A large staff breakout and extra recreational space provides communal dining and social engagement for staff members. Black aluminium framed glazed partitions along the inner wall created offices for the CEO and CFO, lobby, boardroom and multiple meeting rooms. The installation of different flooring materials provides separation between circulation space and workspaces. The colour palette has been kept simple and clean with a dynamic use of black and white. This is contrasted with few accents of colour and earthy undertones within the natural wooden elements.

With meticulous attention to detailing, documentation, lighting, ventilation, and building services, a contemporary workplace is achieved. Creating a striking working environment for the Avante Group was collaborated with an expert project team aligning with the clients’ vision.
