In an industrial complex, a section of a warehouse has been transformed into a café, embracing the area's inherent characteristics.
The interior retains the raw concrete shell, with timber and tile elements introduced to soften the industrial feel. A feature wall at the back is covered in dark red bricks arranged in a herringbone pattern, injecting warmth into the space.
A children's play area is cleverly situated under the existing staircase, providing entertainment for young visitors. The café's design pays homage to the building's current occupants, an electrical business, with features like exposed cables and tables made from cable drums, reflecting the industrial origins of the space.
